After the announcement that the movie release is going to be delayed for the March 11, 2016 now Legendary tweeted about the cast of the upcoming movie. Yeah, it was delayed because at BlizzCon was announced another date.
First things first... We wrote about some actors before but now we have to deal with a completely different list. So I'm not sure if the previous one is still standing or if the new one replacing it. But since the announcement is for the actors that joined the upcoming Warcraft movie, maybe they are just added to the other cast list.
The published list is: Ben Foster, Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Toby Kebbell, and Rob Kazinsky. Some of them were in the previous list as well and I'm happy to see Ben Foster in here.
Who do you think should join to these lists?
There were a lot of speculations lately, right after people found out that Blizzard registered a new name: Heroes of the Storm.
At first we had no idea what that name might be for and most of the people believed that it has something to do with the Heartstone game. Apparently most of the people was wrong because Heroes of the Storm is the upcoming Blizzard MOBA game. Formerly known as Blizzard All-Stars or Blizzard Dota.
Today was released a short video that made everything clear. Enjoy.
Blizzard already announced that the next Heathstone beta update will be a big one and it will require a player wipe. Now we have more details about the upcoming update.
Here is the official announcement:
In our previous blog, we covered some of the nitty-gritty facts about the wipe and what exactly it entails. It’s an exciting time for the Hearthstone team, since this wipe will coincide with our first major closed beta patch for both the Americas and Europe regions. Our update covers a wealth of bug fixes and quality of life improvement within Hearthstone, and today we’ll be sharing some of the highlights of this upcoming patch. Many of these changes are based on feedback that you, our valued community, provided to us on the forums.
We’ve gotten a lot of comments on quests. The community has discovered some fun hidden quests, but some of our daily quests have frustrated those of you who have quests that don’t correspond to your favored class. After the patch, daily quests that require you to win with a specific class will now give you a choice between two classes, allowing you some additional flexibility.
Class balance has been a hot topic, with many of you commenting on the strength and versatility of the Rogue class compared to other classes, such as the Warrior and Priest. Rogues will have some key spells and minions adjusted to bring them more in line with the other classes. Warriors and Priests will find themselves with new tools and improved cards to round out their arsenal, and we’ve made some adjustments to the other classes here and there as well. We’ll be publishing our full patch notes so you can review these and other changes to the heroes of Hearthstone in full detail.
Golden cards are fun to collect in Hearthstone, and a cool way to show off your accomplishments. Many golden cards have been updated with new animations, and there are still more to come. If you’ve helped test our in-game store and acquired your new forever-friend Gelbin Mekkatorque, check out his shiny new animation! In addition to the new animations to Golden cards, we have also added the ability to unlock Golden Basic minions at higher experience levels. Now you can shoot for creating a 100% golden card deck to really dazzle your opponent!
We’ve received a lot of feedback regarding the crafting system, and how the crafting interface didn’t feel quite as intuitive as it should have been. Crafting is intended to be easy to access and a fun way to craft new cards for your collection, and we want that to be noticeable right away to the new player. We’ve updated the UI for our crafting system, so making cards for your collection should be even easier than before! Click the “Crafting Mode” button to access the updated crafting UI.
We’ve improved our chat functionality to make it more streamlined and easier to interact with your friends. We’ve also introduced Toasts: they’re a cool addition to our social features that let your friends know when you’ve done something awesome in-game, like open a Legendary card or complete an Arena run. Combine these two improvements together and you’ll never miss an exciting moment with your card-slinging friends in Hearthstone!
Play Mode and Arena
Finally, we’re aware that a lot of discussion on the forums is revolving around Play and Arena mode, and how to make them more compelling for players to participate in. We’ve changed experience and leveling so you can max out your Hero at level 60 and earn experience in any game mode up to max level. This includes Play mode (ranked or unranked), Practice, matches against friends, and the Arena.
The rate that you acquire gold has been one of the other most-commented on topics on our forums. This patch will improve the gold output of Play mode, changing the gold generation rate from 5 gold per five wins to 10 gold per three wins. We will be monitoring this update as we progress further into closed beta and will continue to make changes as needed.
We’ve made significant changes to the Arena as well: In general, rewards gained will include less dust and more cards, as well as guaranteeing more gold for both five and six Arena wins. To further entice you to become an Arena Grand Master, an extra pack OR a golden card is now guaranteed at nine wins.
Full patch notes will be available alongside the patch, which will include the collection wipe. For more information on the wipe and what that entails, please read our blog here! Thank you for your continued feedback as we continue the closed beta testing phase of Hearthstone.

From the title of the article it's pretty clear what's going to happen: Hearthstone Beta accounts are going to be wiped, but wait there is more...
An official announcement was published a while ago about this. Seems like a big Beta Update comes for Hearthstone and it will require an account wipe. Basically all your progress will be reseted. I mean everything: your rating, cards and levels of your heroes. This reset will take place only for EU and US servers.
Those of you who spent real money to buy card packs are going to be reimbursed with gold after the reset. This way you'll be able to rebuy all those packs right after the reset.
The legendary Golden Gelbin Mekkatorque card, if you have it, will remain and it will wait for you after you finish the introductory battles.
For the moment there are no details about the future update, but since they are doing a wipe we can expect something big.
A lot of people was waiting for this, the EU Hearthstone Beta!
Keep in mind that this is still a closed Beta phase, but a lot of you should get invited if you opted in for this game as well.
Judging by the US Hearthstone Beta, we should see a lot of giveways and sweepstakes in the following days. So keep an eye on Blizzard official fansites and social media account and, like always, on the fansites as well...
We already wrote a quick review based on the US Beta and we even played the game live a couple of times. Now with the start of the EU Beta stage I think we will keep streaming on twitch as much as we can.
Are you already playing the Beta or are you still waiting for it?
A few days ago Hearthstone Beta was launched in US. Thanks to Europe Blizzard Community Team we are able now to participate in that US Beta testing.
For those who don't know yet Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is the upcoming free-to-play Blizzard game. It's a small card game and for those who are familiar with TCG games it should be easy to understand. I'll try to explain a little bit on how this game works... Hope I wont miss much on the basics.
When you first start the game you'll have to complete a tutorial. That's where you get your first hero and the first cards. As far as I could see there is no way to skip that but I see no reason why someone would skip it...
Your hero is the one casting spells, deploying your troops and the one that has to live in order to win. There are nine heroes/classes: Warrior, Shaman, Rogue, Paladin, Hunter, Druid, Warlock, Mage, Priest. Beside the cards, each hero can use one unique weapon and one unique spell. Leveling each hero will unlock various class specific cards and it seems to increase the health of the hero as well (I might be wrong on this).
Defeating other heroes will reward you with cards as well. Even if your deck can only hold 30 cards, you'll be able to customize your deck however you like. If you want you can buy booster packs (pack of random 6 cards) with real money or gold. I'm still unsure at the moment how you earn that gold. Well, I got some gold when I got my first hero to level 10... Keep in mind that you DON'T have to buy those cards. You can wait and earn them.
Speaking of cards. There are around 300 cards in game at the moment. Each class has 20 basic cards. You should have them all when you hit level 10. As far as I could see Golden cards are the rarest and the most interesting ones. Each hero can use only his class cards and the neutral ones.
Each card has a mana cost, attack points and health. Some of the cards also have special abilities.
After completing the tutorial you'll be able to play against other players. The matchmaking system will select the best opponent for you. By winning those duels you can earn gold or even cards/boosters.
You can Practice as well and test various decks against basic or expert opponents. The expert ones are pretty good as far as I could see...
The third play more is the Arena. There you can forge your own deck from all the in game cards, whatever you have them or not.
We spent a few hours today playing the Heartstone: Heroes of Warcraft and we have a few videos of its interface and a couple of tutorial fights. Hope you'll understand the basics from there.
Let me know if you have any questions about the game. I'll try to answer the best I can.
Not long ago the first signs start to appear. Now even more reports appeared.
Here is a video with plenty of details if you look close enough... EvilReborn It’s real. It’s out there. It’s angry. And it’s evil. Will you try to run, or stand and fight?
We were told that on September 3, evil will be reborn on console systems throughout the world, but everything seems to be a lot more frightening than everyone was expecting.
We came into possession of some rare footage that proves that world wide phenomenon shouldn't be overlooked.
#EvilReborn We’re investigating strange phenomena on PS3s worldwide. Do not panic.
#EvilReborn This kid saw something – or hopefully just had a nightmare. Be on the lookout.
Reports are coming in of strange phenomena on PS3s worldwide. This is the first video evidence, sent in by an anonymous gamer. Seen anything similar?
