Before we start with the actual explanations for each battle, let's look over some general notes and recommendations. So if you are looking for tips for Celestial Tournament or if ask yourself what's the optimal team to defeat the tournament, then make sure you go over the entire post.
If you want to take part in the Celestial Tournament, you have to make your way to Timeless Isle. As far as I could see, you don't even have to complete all the introductory quests to be able to start with your pet battles there.
Make sure you have at least 15 level 25 battle pets. You wont be able to start the Tournament without those pets. As many level 25 pets you have the easier will be for you to make a perfect team.
Keep in mind that there are some restrictions and changes to this tournament:
- Main thing: you wont be able to heal your pets between fights so make sure you heal the pets BEFORE entering the tournament.
- As a plus, if you are leaving a fight your pets are not losing 10% of their health.
- You can change your team and skills between fights.
- By leaving the tournament instance you'll lose your progress.
- The Celestial Tournament is a weekly event.
- Each week you may encounter other tamers, but the final legendary pets are the same.
The setups we will recommend for each fight are some optimal ones you'll have to get used to the fights first and to prepare yourself for some defeats. Most of the time the fights are highly based on luck as well. A missed hit can cause death to an entire team...
Regarding the teams we will suggest for each fight, even if you do not own some pet from that team you can easily find an alternative pet if you are searching after their skills. The more level 25 pets you have the easiest the tournament will be for you.
These are not addons specifically made for the celestial tournament, but they will help with your pet battles in general.
- PetJournal Enhanced - One of the best addon for pet battles. It ads tons of new functions to your Pet Journal. It's a must have in my opinion.
- PetBattle Teams - This one is great for saving your teams and switch them fast when needed. Since the Celestial Tournament requires multiple pets and teams you'll find this quite useful.
- Pet Battle Tactician - Display a handy window that tracks your and your opponent abilities and the cooldowns.
- PetBattle Info - Best for seeing enemy skill cooldowns and more.

Well, we'll be able to own the celestial pets, not the legendary version though, but their "cute" versions. All the prizes are available for Celestial Coins. Three coins for pets, one coin for Pet Treats and one coin for 25 x Battle Pet Bandages.
This is the hardest challenge for the pet lovers out there. Of course, the presented teams and solutions for each fight may vary and I'm sure some of you found some better setups as well. If you are one of those people who think their setup is better, let us know, drop a comment below and help others with your knowledge. You can use the wowhead's awesome tool, the pet battle team calculator to explain your tactics even better.
