It's that time of the year when everyone is searching for the best present. Often, when it comes to a World of Warcraft player, it is hard to figure it out (as a non player) what the perfect gift might be.
That's why we will try to make a quick list of products for you. We'll try to cover all the budgets, so everyone can afford at least something from our list.
In-game gifts

You can buy game time (to pay the game subscription for someone for a few months). You can do so on Blizzard Store. (EU store, US store).
You can buy an in-game pet. There are a lot of pets to pick up from the Blizzard Store. You can always benefit the Holiday Sales too.
Beside these pets you can get a mount (the Celestial Steed or the Winged Guardian). The Celestial Steed one is on the Holiday Sales list as well.
Before purchasing any of these gifts you should know something important: Purchase the products from the appropriate region store. The codes for the pets, mounts or game time wont work from one region to another.
So, if the player you are buying these for is playing on Europe realms buy the products from the EU store.
WoW Expansions and other games

If your friend is a big Blizzard fan you can get him even another game made by Blizzard. Most likely he'd like to try Starcraft 2.
Action figures and plushies

All of these are pretty cheap but it will take some time to be delivered to you.
For action figures you can check the Blizzard Store (again!) or if you want a custom made one check the FigurePrints.com. Keep in mind that it will take about one month for a custom figure to be completed, so if you want your gift ready for these holidays you should reconsider your pick.
The plushies can be bought from Blizzard Store and two of them, Wind Rider Cub and Gryphon Hatchling also include an in-game pet.
World of Warcraft books and novels

Thrall: Twilight of the Aspects and Wolfheart are the latest publications therefore one of these two would be great for a gift.
Warcraft Steins

See the word of advice for the WoW clothing below. That applies here too.
WoW Clothing

One word of advice though: Ask your friend, if you don't know already, what faction is he playing. Trust me, you don't want to give a horde player an alliance t-shirt or vice-versa.
WoW peripherals

The most known and highly advertised stores are Steelseries and Razer. You can pick from a huge variety of products, you just have to know how much do you want to spend for these gifts...
All these gifts are suitable for everyone I guess. It all depends on your budget and on what do you think it's best for your friend.
Now that you know what you can get for a gift, tell us what exactly are you going to get. Or maybe you found something else that's not on our list. Let us know about it...
If you are the one who is expecting a WoW gift tell us what would you like to get. Or tell us what you got last year. This might help others finding the perfect gift.
PS: Do not miss our WoWish Contest!

My girlfriend got me a gamepad this year! A razer N53t (I guess that's the right model number). I used it for two raids already, but I still need some tinme to get used to it.
