About a week ago we were told that we wont have to actually buy/own the farm in order to access those Work Orders. It looks like the latest build changed that and we will have to own the Sunsong Ranch if we want to benefit of those quests.
Here is what the patch notes are telling us:
Players that have grown attached to working the land at Sunsong Ranch can now purchase the land from Farmer Yoon. Once the farm is owned by a player, it becomes a rest point like an Inn, where the player can bind and instantly log out. Work orders will pour into the farm from factions across Pandaria, and completing a work order will earn a reputation
boost with the issuing faction.
boost with the issuing faction.
The interesting thing is that we don't actually purchase the farm, the farm is given to us by Farmer Yoon. Yeah, for free. I honestly expected to see some 10k gold fee or something, but it is only a short quest I had to complete and I'm now the proud owner of Sunsong Ranch.
This is what Farmer Yoon is telling you when you'll finish the quest:

I couldn't bind my heart stone there, yet, but I'm sure that will be possible in a future PTR build.
The interesting thing about all this farm business is that this is a place that you can call home. Might this little farm be the start of a long requested feature? Yes, I'm thinking about player houses here... I'm really interested in the future of this farm.

I doubt it! Guild Housing in Pandaria with upcomming expansions? Teh Housing should be on major cities and low populated ones!
