Similar to the start of 5.1 patch, these days some fansites interviewed the devs regarding 5.2 patch that is about to be launched on March 5th. Here are the highlights of these interviews:

General

• Later patches might increase the drop rate for the Tome needed for warlock green fire quest start.
• That Tome can be dropped by raid bosses as well.
• The last patch of the expansion will introduce the big unannounced feature.
• Content patches are expected every two months-ish.
• 5.2 is the last content patch focused on Pandaria. The future patches will focus on alliance vs. horde conflict.
• Lei Shen died by old age (the first time it died)... presumably.
• Lor'themar Theron as a future warchief?
• We might see more Draenei lore in the future.
• In the future, item upgrades will change a bit. We might be able to get some refunds or to pass the upgrades from one item to another.
• In 5.3 will see more interections between Garrosh and other horde races
• In 5.3 we will kind of circle back to Varian, since he is not very active in 5.2.
• Vol'jin is going to be back before the end of expansion.
• Sylvanas is up to something. We might see something before the end of expansion.

Raids, Dungeons, Scenarios

• Throne of Thunder: The schedule for the raid find is to be announced. The raid finder is going to be split into four segments.
• In 5.3 we should expect challenge modes for scenarios.
• We wont see a heroic Ragefire Chasm, but the experiments going on down there will have a continuation.
• The 7th Sha will show up eventually... in the future.
• Ra-den (the heroic only boss, the titan below Throne of Thunder) has a big role for the future content. Me might work with the titans and not against them. We have no idea if we are killing him or not.
• Ra-den has no Dungeon Journal entry to allow guilds to discover its secrets, but we might see that entry added in the future.
• Thunderforged items drop rate is to be discovered.

Pet Battles

• Pets with respawn timers are a bit boosted in 5.2.
• Pets level cap might be increased in future expansions.
• Patch 5.3 or 5.4 might bring epic pets for the players.
• We might be able to track Pets PvP fights.
• BlizzCon 2013 might not be a murloc...
• Patch 5.3 might bring pet drops from Burning Crusade raids.
