Flame Leviathan Stats and Abilities

HP: 60M (Heroic) / 20M (Normal)
Hard Mode: If you destroy any of the four towers before reaching the boss he will get a specific ability for each tower, activating the hard mode. The more towers you destroy the better loot you get... and achievements.
Flame Leviathan Abilities:
  • Flame Vents - Deals ~3k fire dmg / sec for 10 sec.
  • Gathering Speed - Stacks up to 20 times increasing bosses speed by 5% each time. The stacks can be reset by Overload Circuit.
  • Battering Ram - Beside it's dmg and knock forward it also causes the target to take 50% more damage for 10 sec.
  • Mark Target - The boss will mark a new target every 30 sec and you'll have to kite him around.
  • Turrets - The boss have 4 Turrets and you'll have to destroy them by launching players into them with Salvaged Demolisher. When active the turrets use Missile Barrage
  • Overload Circuit - Players launched on top of him will be able to channel this spell which will cancel the Gathering Speed stacks and make the boss receive 50% more dmg for 20 sec.

    Hard Mode buffs
  • Thorim's Hammer - Tower of Storms destroyed - Balls of lightning will hit the ground and deal ~15k dmg in a 7 yards radius.
  • Mimiron's Inferno - Tower of Flame destroyed - Flames slowly moving across the room creating a path of fire on their way.
  • Hodir's Fury - Tower of Frost - Freezes any machines on contact and also dealing damage to nearby players.
  • Freya's Ward - Tower of Nature - Spawns lashers from time to time. You have to kill them.

Strategy

Raid:
Before entering the gauntlet you'll be able to choose your vehicles while you are at Expedition Base Camp. In normal mode there 2 of each vehicle type while in heroic mode there are 5 of each type. All these vehicles are based on players gear ilevels. Use your higher ilevel gear!
Everyone should know exactly what to do and what is his role in this fight.
  • Siege Engine Driver - You'll be able take down buildings, knock back and silence enemies and boos your speed when needed. Also, if you are not the marked target you should interrupt the Flame Jets on the boss.
  • Siege Engine Passenger - You can shoot down crates and when there are no flying things you can assist on ground dmg.
  • Demolisher Driver - Long range dmg and massive dmg barrels. Also you can Launch your passenger.
  • Demolisher Passenger - Salvages pyrite ammo and refills the demolisher. You can be Launched by the driver.
  • Chopper Driver - Use tar to slow down the boss or to ignite it to dmg him. Also you should pick up any player on foot to protest and heal him.

On the way to the boss you should focus on Storm Beacons and stay together. Don't let anyone behind. This is like any other gauntlet.
When you engage the boss he will mark and follow on of your Siege Engine. You have to kite it around the room. Other Siege Engines should be behind interrupting the Flame Jets. Be ready to be the next target and start to kite the other way. Use the speed boost when needed.
Passengers of siege engines should shoot down the crates and assist on boss dps when there is nothing to shot down.
Demolisher drivers should stay far from boss and constantly dps him. The barrels should be used for stuns mostly. Do not waste them. Also, when a passenger is loaded you should launch it into boss asap. When Overload Circuit is activated you should use the barrels because the boss will be stunned and you can do some massive dmg.
Demolisher passengers should pick up the ammo and load them into demolishers. Also, Demolishers passengers (1 healer and 1 dpser) will be launched on top of Leviathan and they will face one of it's 4 turrents. You have to kill it asap and start channelling the Overload Circuit. Boss should be stunned while he is on Tar so Demolishers can ignite it with the barrels. After the stun is over you'll be launched into the air and parachute down. A Chopper should pick you up asap.
Chopper drivers, your main job is to keep the tar in front of the boss path and to pick up the on-foot players. You can use the Sonic Horn if you have time for extra dmg.
