We still have a lot to talk about the new WoW expansion. We don't think we will have time to present all the changes of the old world but at least we hope we can bring you a few info about the new added areas.
We already spoke about Mount Hyjal area and now is time to show you something about it's follow up (if you are following the quests), The Deepholm!

I was always intrigued about the big swirl between the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. Well, Cataclysm give us and answer to that. That huge whirlpool (The Maelstorm) between the old continents, is a passageway between Azeroth and a world beneath it, Deepholm.

I think everyone saw Outland before. Now, if you'll head into the Deepholm you'll find some similarities there. Rocks and pieces of buildings are flying around the place (what happen to gravity here?!) and, some of them, some pillar looking formations, are shattering and hovering around from time to time and returning to previous state after a while. Pretty amazing animation... No, I couldn't find out what happens is you are caught inside them :P

The quests are interesting, like all new quest are. From start to finish you'll have to find "things" to help this decaying world. I wont spoil you the fun on what you'll have to do here because is a neat story and you'll enjoy it (I hope).

If you remember the Icecrown flying vessels... you'll find them here also. At least the Alliance one because the Horde ship is smashed into the ground, but don't be happy about it... Alliance ship is not in a great shape either. I do not know for sure, but maybe for the horde players is the other way around.

Deepholm is filled with flying rocks, water, lava and bright crystals. All elements are present here and you'll have to learn to "play" with them all.

After you first enter the Maelstorm and land into Deepholm you'll be able to use a portal from Stormwind (and Ogrimmar I guess) to return to this place. Also, here you'll have a portal to SW and Ogri.

Do you have any other questions about this area? What would you like to know about Deepholm? Are you going to level up here or you'll choose some other area?

actually after finishing deepholm with my warlock i thought that you have to travel a looooot from a to b but at questing i didnt really noticed it and thats a very good sign(for me at least).

ok the sentence doesnt look very english for me but i hope you get what i want to say^^

deepholm will be in my opinion the new dragonblight. its the first zone after the 2 start leveling zones and i dont like that so much, i would prefer to skip this zone or add another zone with the same levelwith of 83 to the game(which is probably to late^^), so a little bid sad. the zone get a lot of potential but they destroy it with a lot of waiting because everyone is questing in this zone, so far they dont want to skip it.

90% of WoW raiding can be summarized in 7 words: "Do not stand in the bad stuff!"

Actually, if you quested in both Mount Hyjal and in Vashj'ir, you could probably skip Deepholm and head straight on, but I don't really see the point. These zones were designed so that all characters experience all the zones, unlike WotLK where you could skip three to five zones in northrend and still hit 80.
