Glyphs System

With the last build of the Cataclysm Beta the Glyphs System was redesigned and a few notable changes took place.

The most important change, I think, is that now glyphs are no longer consumables items. After you learn them you can change them whenever you like. Of course this also can lead to a price inflation of the glyphs and lower profits for Inscriptionists but I believe is to early to jump to conclusions here.

The Glyphs UI now show you all the glyphs, even those you didn't learn yet. You can search for them and you can filter them. Also, now all the glyphs are sorted into groups. And speaking of groups, the Prime Group was added and the Prime Glyphs slots were added to the UI too. There are no such glyphs yet out there, at least I couldn't find any, but they will be...

Guild Achievements

The Guild Achievements were added too along with the new build. They can be found in a separate tab in the Achievements panel. We wont create a huge list of every single achievement. If you are looking for that please check out wowhead database.

I think a re screenshots will do to have an idea what are the requirements for these new achievements.

What do you think about the new Glyph System changes and about the new Guild Achievements?

I love the look and the usability of the new glyph system. But I have a question. If we buy all our class glyphs NOW and we keep them in bank till Cataclysm, is it possible for us to learn them all when Cataclysm goes live?

Yes and no. For glyphs that will continue to exist, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to do that. So far, all the glyphs being provided by the class glyph vendors seem to be the same items as on live, the spell just teaches the glyph rather than setting it in your glyph pane...

The only trouble glyphs in your plan would be the ones being removed from the game. There seem to be some missing/changed glyphs, and some new ones are being added. So I figure you could probably get a decent chunk of the way to learning them all when Cat goes live...

Though I'll also point out that the 12 glyphs across two specs that we had attached when transferring characters all became automatically learned. I suspect it will be the same with 4.0 launches, that those glyphs you have already attached won't need to be repurchased and relearned.
