I'll try to follow the WoWJuju articles template to say a little something about the new Factions that we will encounter in Cataclysm. I wont focus on details, this will be some general points about every faction.
Hope you'll enjoy the read. ;)

Baradin's Wardens

Alliance Faction
This faction resides in Tol Barad. Their opponents are the Hellscream's Reach members. Basically, imagine a Wintergrasp battleground but this time two factions will help you attack and defend your objectives.
A bunch of daily quest are available to boos your reputation with them and the number of those quests may wary if you control the Tol Barad prison.
To learn more about Tol Barad battleground check out the wowjuju review of it.

Dragonmaw Clan

Horde Faction
Even if we already meet Dragonmaw orcs back in the TBC, we were not able to raise our reputation with them and they were pretty hostile with everyone back then. Now, they have joined forces with Horde and they will fight along side with then in the Twilight Highlands and the Twin Peaks battleground. For the moment I have no idea if you'll get any reputation with them in the battleground, guess the beta is not ready to tell me this.
Anyhow, all the quests in Twilight Highlands will give you reputation with them if you on Horde side. The alliance players will get reputation with Wildhammer Clan. Championing will be available for everyone also.

Earthen Ring

Neutral Faction
They are the protectors of the World Pillar in Deepholm. You'll get reputation with them while questing in this area and you will also be able to use their tabard to get some reputation while championing.

Guardians of Hyjal

Neutral Faction
By the name of it I think anyone figure it out that you'll encounter them in Mount Hyjal. All the quests in there will will you reputation with these guys plus, you can use their tabard to increase your reputation while running the dungeons.
For the moment I couldn't find any repeatable or daily quests for them.

Hellscream's Reach

Horde Faction
They are the Baradin's Wardens opponents in Tol Barad. Just like them they will help horde players to defend and attack the Prison, plus they will give you daily quests to increase your reputation with them.
Yet again, check out the Tol Barad wowjuju review.

Ramkahen

Neutral Faction
While questing in Uldum you'll get reputation with these strange faction who is there and fight to protect Titan's secrets. For the moment he only repeatable way to increase reputation with them is to use their tabard in dungeons.
Wowjuju already has a great article about Uldum. Check it out.

Therazane

Neutral Faction
You can call this faction Sons of Hodir 2 in my opinion, because they are very similar. They can be found in Deepholm and you'll have to do some quests for them to gain their trust. You'll start as Hated with them and by the time the non-daily quests are over you'll be somewhere around Honored. You can also use their tabard yo get reputation.

Wildhammer Clan

Alliance Faction
They are the Dragonmaw Clan's enemies and they can be found in Twilight Highlands. Questing there will increase reputation your with them and like their opponents you can use their tabard too.
As a history lesson, for those how still remembers, this faction was in-game back in Vanilla. There were some quests in Hinterlands and also some repeatable ones to help you increase your reputation with them. The faction was removed somewhere around TBC launch.

I didn't want to speak about any specific daily quest or something similar because this is still Beta and a lot of things can change. But till then I hope this small preview over the Cataclysm Factions will give you an idea about how the Cataclysm reputation farm will be.

Did I miss anything? Do you have something else to add about these factions?

To be fair with you skippy, I wanted to write something similar in one of our Cataclysm Exploration episodes, but seems like you were ahead of me :P

Now back to the topic... It's strange to see that most of the factions have a tabard now and everyone can farm reputation with them while farming anything else in the dungeons. Somehow I expected to see at least one faction like old school factions, but seems like Factions and reputation system is not so interesting anymore for Blizzard and for players. I wonder why?

90% of WoW raiding can be summarized in 7 words: "Do not stand in the bad stuff!"

Yeah, a new Insane would have been awesome :D Or maybe at least some addition to the current Insane title.
Maybe in some future patch Blizzard will focus a bit on factions too.
