Why does the rep calculator still show item turn ins and quests and mobs and stuff like that for rep when those things are no longer in the game?

For example I'm looking at argent dawn

Under items it shows Argent Dawn Valor Token but when you go to wowhead it is clear that item is no longer in the game
Under Repeatable Quests every single one of those quests is no longer available and is listed as obsolete on wowhead.

I know I've seen this for other factions, especially classic factions. This is rather annoying when you come here looking for what to do to increase your rep and find a bunch of useless out of data information. It makes me wonder if the rep amounts for the dungeons are accurate or not.

We are trying to keep the things updated. Most of the time people, like you, report things to us if they find something wrong and we recheck them and fix them asap.
Not all the things are found in patch notes, and when a patch hits it's pretty much impossible to fix everything at once and be 100% accurate.

If you find something missing, like these Valor Tokens, let us know.

Aaaand, the Valor Tokens were removed from the list, but keep in mind that if you do have any of those left you can still use them for reputation.

Thank you for your quick reply. You might want to put a note on the pages for at least a lot of the old world stuff that was majorly changed from the Cataclysm that you information is probably completely wrong.

I've now got my Argent Dawn Rep to exalted, and I discovered that there are only two repeatable (not daily) quests. The bosses in Scholomance and Stratholme do not give any rep.

The two repeatable quests are

Hopefully now, someone else won't go through the hours of trying to figure out how to get rep since this sites information was so out of date that it was useless.

The best part is that these quests are VERY easy to crank out at 85 you can finish your rep easily in one night.

Callethebest I have no idea what are you trying to play. there only one World of Warcraft and you don't play that on a website.
Maybe you want to use the Reputation Calculator...
